Bottom Y Crack Inducer is a rigid PVC Base Crack inducer. It creates a plane of weakness in a slab so that in conjunction with a two part crack inducer or saw cut, a crack is induced in a controlled position in the slab.

Two part crack inducer is fixed to the sub-base, prior to laying of concrete by nailing through the lugs. Alternatively, special fixing clips can be supplied. The position of the Two part crack inducer should be clearly marked so that the top joint-formers can be accurately located directly above. This ensures that the crack will be formed vertically between the two.
