Lisa Allen is one of the original members of the Bluebay team, playing a pivotal role in establishing the business over the past 23 years. Now, as Finance and HR Manager, she’s using two decades of experience to help shape the company’s future.

This year has been one of the most transformative in Bluebay’s history – an acquisition, a new Managing Director, a growing team, and the opening of our fifth UK depot. Being part of this next chapter has been both exciting and incredibly rewarding.

After more than 20 years here, seeing Bluebay evolve at this pace is amazing. I knew I wanted to be right in the middle of it – supporting the team through change and making sure we’re ready for the future.

That’s why I was happy to take on a new HR role alongside my finance responsibilities. It’s given me the opportunity to support colleagues I’ve worked with for many years – like Becky, our Credit Controller of 15 years, and Meg, our Purchase Ledger of five years – as well as the many new faces we’ve recently welcomed.

Everything we’ve achieved over the years – the relationships, the expertise, the trust we’ve built – gives us such a strong platform to grow from. I’m proud to be using that foundation to help guide the next stage of our journey, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for Bluebay.
