A High Density Expansion and Movement Joint Filler

Soltex HD is a, closed cell, cross-linked, semi-rigid polyethylene, joint filler, for use in brick and blockwork. It fully meets the specification of BS5628 Pt 3: 2001 Section 5.4.3 – Code of Practice for use of masonry. Soltex HD is compliant with the Department of Transport Specification 1015 for Roads and Bridges. DTp Specification for Highways Works Amendment February 2016 Soltex HD is ideal for use in all water retaining structures such as reservoirs, sewage tanks, runways, taxiways and aprons, sea defences, etc.

Soltex HD is ozone, oil, and weather resistant, and has very low water absorption properties of <1% by volume. Soltex HD has been tested to BS6920 by the Water Research Council (WRC), and can be used with potable water. It is registered under the Water Byelaws Scheme, product no. 9402509.
Where Soltex HD is used as a joint filler, there is no need for any additional bond breaker.
