A Heavy Duty Wire Hychair To BS7973

A robust continuous wire chair manufactured from Grade B500 reinforcement steel incorporating larger diameter bars than our standard High Chairs.
This product has been specifically designed and manufactured to meet the exact performance standards of BS7973.

The standard stipulates that the permanent deflection of the product should not exceed 1.0mm after a set load is applied to the various points along the length of the chair. Meeting this specification reduces the chance of deformation of the wire chair during installation, reducing the potential for increases in concrete cover to the reinforcement, which in turn could lead to larger crack widths than anticipated in the finished concrete surface.

This product feature should be considered when supporting the reinforcement steel for heavily reinforced slabs or when large amounts of foot traffic are anticipated either while fixing the reinforcement steel or during final concrete placement.
