Hydrophilic Waterstop for Waterproofing Precast Segments

Solco water swellable sealing inserts are particularly suited for waterproofing tunnels, dams and other precast constructions. These inserts are perfect for application in the classic EPDM profiles surrounding the tunnel concrete segments. Upon water infiltration, the sealing inserts will be activated and will absorb the water. The EPDM profiles will expand and water infiltration is prevented. Moisture and leakage will not get any chance!

Designed specifically for tunnelling projects in areas where ground water has a high salt concentration, a superswell version of these sealing inserts has been developed, this version has an impressive expansion capacity.
